Chuck Norris founded Kickstart Kids Aug. 16, 1992, to provide an effective program to teach kids the discipline and positive traits martial arts offers. The program provides an alternative to gangs and teaches students to believe in themselves and achieve personal goals. Interstate Batteries partners with Kickstart every year by sponsoring two Dallas-area schools for the program.
